"It has a lot of biodiversity, both on either plants and animals. There are lots of plants like insect eating plants, water plants or fruit trees. It is on a hill, so there may be a bit of hiking, but it has a great view. There are parrots also."

"We joined an exclusive tour of the garden and the current artist-in-residence program, “Impressions, Expressions – Feeling & Depicting Nature” Botanical Art Exhibition, all led by artist-in-residence Kelvin Yeung. It was very impressive to see how Kelvin, as both an artist and a nature conservationist, shared his detailed knowledge and passion throughout the tour. After that, we took part in his Chinese painting workshop, which gave us a warm and eye-opening introduction to watercolor and Chinese painting. We were also inspired by the volunteers’ efforts in running Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden. The garden itself is beautiful and definitely worth a visit—highly recommend checking out the exhibition!"

"A truly stunning botanical garden, where the streams and waterfalls, the valley, and a diverse array of trees and plants blend together into one harmonious landscape. What an incredible legacy left by Sir Kadoorie and Lord Kadoorie!
I participated in the meditation program "Walking in Peace 2025" here. We practiced various forms of meditations -- including sitting meditation, walking meditation, qigong, mindful eating. I enjoyed every part of the experience - strolling in silence along the beautiful paths beside the streams and waterfalls, meditating atop the hill at sunset, and ending the day with dessert on the rooftop after dinner. We even saw monkeys and a porcupine crossing the road on the way down the campus.
My heartfelt thanks to Ven. Ngawang Tenzin, the dedicated staff, and all the wonderful participants for making this such a meaningful and enriching experience."
