Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Hong Kong Tramways for their nostalgic charm, affordability, and unique way to see the city. The 'Ding Ding' trams offer a delightful journey through Hong Kong Island's diverse neighborhoods. However, some find the official souvenir shop a bit pricey and note that certain items are overpriced compared to other markets.

"First of all, the shop is located on the first floor of the Central Market building. Like others, I had trouble finding it.

I have been wanting to visit this place since I learned about it a few years back. There are lots of little knick knacks and small gifts that are "old" Hong Kong themed. There are also a lot of bus and transport related things, and snacks as well.

It's smaller than I thought but there was a good selection there. I was told that the other location was smaller.

The woman that helped me was kind, courteous, and nice. She was the perfect employee, and made me feel welcome and want to shop there more(which I did)."

Anthony

"If you are looking to buy a double-decker tram miniature, this is the place to get it. I was looking like desperate for the miniature of their double deckers and couldn't find anywhere but they had it!

Little expensive though, 109 HKD for a small miniature (size of my toe) is on the costy side."

Kacper Krzesiński

"Fabulous little shop in Central Market selling all sorts of snacks and collectibles..I'm from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 but made me feel like a kid again inside. Really worth a visit."
