"2025 August 4★
A very nice place to learn about the textile industry and the history about the building and it's owners. Never heard of Nan Fung Textiles prior to going here and didn't understand what a significant contribution they had made to the economy and society.
The Mills consists of three renovated cotton-spinning factory buildings: Nan Fung Textiles' Mill 4, Mill 5 and Mill 6. CHAT is housed in the former Mill 6. Paying homage to The Mills' history, The D. H. Chen Foundation Gallery presents a brief introduction to Hong Kong's textile industry - an industry that played a central role in the development of Hong Kong society.
Very good exhibit. While there. Is one interactive exhibit at the end, would be more engaged with many.
Still good.
Free admission/exhibit. Worth checking out if you're in the area."

"I loved how the story of the former textile factory is presented in a room 2 times a badminton court through the use of old machinery, video stories, artefacts & other visual displays.

It allowed me to experience the factory workers' lives vicariously. There is also a contemporary art section and an interactive station where you can manipulate old factory controls to create patterns."
