What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests rave about the hotel's beautiful, nostalgic Victorian design and excellent service, with comfortable rooms and charming Disney touches. The buffet at Enchanted Garden Restaurant is a standout, offering delicious food and character interactions. Its prime location offers easy access to the park. However, some find the rooms a bit dated and the overall 'magic' less pronounced compared to US Disney hotels, with a few noting firm beds and cold pool water.
"Beautiful, nostalgic hotel with great service and super comfortable rooms. The Disney touches are charming without feeling overdone. The buffet is a highlight fresh, varied, and genuinely delicious, from the omelet station to the pastries (the Mickey waffles are a must). Easy walk to the parks and a fun atmosphere throughout. A bit pricey, but the experience and convenience make it worth it. We will be back!"

"Had a good stay here for 2 nights in a standard room with 3 adults and 1 child. Staff were overall very helpful and friendly. The main reason we stayed was the location - both proximity to the park (shuttle bus directly to the park) and proximity to the airport (we had an early flight home after checking out). However, it was missing other hotel perks that US parks typically come with such as extended park hours (which requires payment), and the experience felt lacking in Disney 'magic' compared to the US Disney hotels.
It was convenient that the rooms had a larger max capacity than most hotels in HK, which often max out at 2 adults/1 child. Since we booked 3&1, we requested 2 double beds, but oddly the hotel mentioned that the request was noted but could not be confirmed in advance (rooms either being 2 doubles or 1 king) - even though 1 king would not accommodate 3 adults. Luckily, we did get a room with 2 doubles, but this did cause some anxiety in advance.
The rooms were OK and relatively spacious, although dated. The beds were very firm and not that comfortable, and only 2 pillows (very firm) were provided per bed - vs. typically 4 per bed with varying firmness. We were able to request extra pillows (app had a limit of 1 per type, but staff were able to provide more when asked) but it would have been nice to have had it upfront. A baby crib and bathtub was available upon request. Room included a mini fridge (no freezer) and safe.
Hotel offered both indoor and outdoor pool areas, but we found the water to be quite cold. Fortunately there was a whirlpool with a warm (not hot) temperature, which was perfect for us and our baby."

"Very satisfied with my stay here and would certainly choose again for future visits to the resort. I loved the attention to detail and great customer service. I feel like the furniture in the rooms could use an update and would have liked to see a coffee shop or quick service restaurant on site since the gift shop only had some cold beverages. In addition to the free bus shuttle, the walk to the front gate of the park took about 10 minutes. Be sure to check the activity schedule when you arrive to see what they’re offering during your stay!"
