Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Hong Kong Arts Centre for its striking Brutalist architecture and the diverse, often free, contemporary art exhibitions. It's considered a unique cultural hub with a dynamic performing arts scene. However, some find the location a bit inaccessible and note the limited dining facilities.

"The Hong Kong Arts Centre is a nice building and features some interesting, albeit small, art exhibitions.

I enjoyed the building’s architecture and some of the art on display. It was fun to find out about Luis Chan.

That said, the place was a little deserted and was not especially easy to get to. The lack of a coffee shop (there’s a small coffee stand) is also a negative point for me.

It’s a nice place, but unless you’re attending a specific event its inaccessibility and lack of facilities make a less essential attraction."

Rich Loffman

"HKAC is one of the hidden gem to chill out and browse, with its random exhibitions and sometimes ad hoc amateur piano performances. Best of all, it’s mostly free of admission fees."

Larry Suen

"What a cool creative place. Lots of unique galleries of masterful art pieces. Get your step count up if you take the stairs to L6."
