A friend suggested ice skating and somehow that led me to find Buns roller skating. I have not been roller skating in at least a decade! But the website description sounded promising, with music and neon lights to set the vibe. So I made a reservation using their website and signed the online waiver (good for 12 months from the date signed).
The building was not exactly easy to locate. I'm lucky my cousin lives in Hong Kong and decided to join me, otherwise I might have had some difficulty. It's located on the 7th floor of the Kodak Building, in a somewhat industrial area. Check in process was quick and easy, they just verified my name and email. Lockers are free with a 100 HKD deposit that is returned. Your 2 hour reservation comes with skate rentals and wrist, knee and elbow pads. Staff is very helpful and there's usually someone skating around to keep people moving in the right direction and for overall safety. There's a smaller skating area for smaller kids and table seating around the rink as well as a small party area with a bar-like setup. I can definitely see myself having a party here if I lived here!"
