"this seems to be a beach mostly used by locals which makes it less frequented - which we liked!
the sea is a bit rougher than on other beaches but nevertheless beautiful.
also lots of trees to give you some shade."

"It's a bit confusing to find as there is a small beach on the left of the parking, which is not very welcoming. Boats parked everywhere and the whole little bay was full of algae. Then there is a beach on the right, which is much better and probably good for snorkeling, when there isn't much wind. if you wanna do some fitness, then you have the chance to use the tiny public outdoor gym with nice view over both beaches."

Sarah

"Lovely beach. Easy access. Nice restaurant, the Pelican, in the harbour."

The section closer to the parking lot can sometimes be occupied by fishing boats and may have accumulated algae, making it less appealing for swimming. However, venturing to the right side reveals a more inviting stretch of sand and sea, often recommended for swimming and snorkeling. This distinction is crucial for visitors to manage expectations and find the best spot for their activities. Reddit

This natural variation is part of the beach's charm for those who appreciate a less commercialized environment. The presence of trees offers ample natural shade, a welcome feature on sunny days. For fitness enthusiasts, the beach is also known for its public outdoor gym, providing a unique spot to exercise with a view over the water. InstagramReddit

This vibrant local scene offers a glimpse into the community's active lifestyle and provides an opportunity for visitors to witness or even join in on the energy. Instagram

This tradition highlights the beach's role not just as a recreational spot but as a community gathering place. Whether you're an early riser looking for a workout or simply enjoy observing local life, Sunday mornings offer a unique perspective on Plage de Saint-Félix. It's a testament to the beach's appeal beyond its scenic beauty, fostering a sense of local pride and activity. Instagram

Understanding these conditions is key to enjoying the beach. Checking the wind forecast can help predict water clarity for snorkeling and the likelihood of encountering seagrass. The waves themselves can be a spectacle, with some drone footage capturing impressive views of them breaking over the coral barrier, adding to the beach's wild and natural appeal. TikTokReddit
