What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Plage de la Chapelle as a peaceful slice of paradise with stunning turquoise waters and a welcoming local vibe. Recent upgrades, including a playground and renovated huts, enhance its family-friendliness. While beautiful, be mindful of sea urchins and rocks in the water.
"Ans Bertrand beach is a little corner of paradise away from the big cities. A very peaceful little town with very welcoming locals who always say "hello" as soon as we meet them. The water is magnificent both in its color and in the temperature. You will have no problem getting in. The beach is very clean and you can find a snake and a restaurant to eat there. What fascinated me was the cemetery. A tribute paid to the deceased by making them a real final resting place. I recommend you go there to see these fascinating tombs all made of tiles. For a quiet summer far from the busy life of the metropolis, Ans Bertrand is the ideal place! 🥰🥰🥰"

"Very beautiful beach!!
However, be warned of the abundance of black sea urchins and large rocks.
Great for snorkeling and fishing for bougos (a type of large whelk)!"

"Honestly, it's the beach!
At the end of the day, you have to go there to enjoy the beauty of the place and the beautiful waves. I don't surf, but I understand why this beach is popular with water sports enthusiasts 😄
Be careful of the coral reef; it can be unpleasant if a wave throws you off balance 😶"
