"It is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is long, clean and has incredible town as well as sunset views.

"Grande anse is a vibe. Especially on weekends. You get a mix of tourists and locals. Lots of music playing along the beach. Snorkeling pretty much guarantees seeing fish, most often friendly silver ones that like to swim with people. A fair bit of food and bar options although you’ll have to stay in the middle, the ends tend to be resorts. The sand is gold and soft. The colour is beautiful. Mountain lined views too. Tropical and colourful. Overall, this is one of my favourite beaches in the world."

"A day trip to St George’s in Grenada found us getting a taxi down to Grand Anse Beach for a few hours.
After negotiating a 20 dollar taxi for two, 20 minutes later we were on a sun bed outside the Coconut Beach bar and restaurant.
Two sun beds and a parasol was again negotiated at 15 dollars so this all felt good value.
Grand Anse is set in a lovely bay with a long narrow stretch of clean soft sand. Small warm waves gently turned on the shore creating a typical Caribbean experience.
This beach is very popular but has a peaceful charm to it. Plenty of bar tenders offering drinks and snack and you are not hastled or pressure sold anything.
All in all, Grand Anse was a lovely place to spend a few hours before heading off to Barbados."
