"A small park around a monument with some nice views over the city and a little over the sea. Lots of olive trees making this a cool place during the hot summer days. There is a perfumery nearby but it was closed when we visited."

"Nice little landmark. You can easily miss the turn if you're driving as it's a foot path and it looks like a road on maps lol. There doesn't appear to be much parking here. Walk up the hill past the Perfumery and it's maybe 50m away. Nice views of the surrounding area from the top and of course the monument itself. Strangely considering it's so late in the season it was quite busy here when I visited.
Recommended quick stop! If you are looking for landmarks to see put this on your to visit list for one of those overcast days."

The Allure of the Viewpoint
Many travelers recommend Strani Hill as a quick stop that offers significant visual reward. The presence of numerous olive trees on the slopes provides welcome shade, making it a comfortable place to linger even on hot summer days. While the monument itself is a point of interest, the true star is the expansive scenery that unfolds before you. It's a place to pause, reflect, and capture memorable moments of your Zakynthos adventure.
Despite its natural beauty, some visitors have noted a less pleasant aspect: an unpleasant odor that can sometimes be present. This is often attributed to nearby facilities. While this can detract from the experience for some, many find that the stunning views and the tranquil atmosphere, especially outside peak hours, outweigh this drawback.
Navigating and Accessing Strani Hill
Parking is another common point of discussion among visitors. There isn't a dedicated parking lot, and finding a convenient spot can be challenging, especially during busier times. Once you've found the entrance, the walk up to the main viewpoint is generally short and manageable. The paths are often lined with olive trees, offering a pleasant, shaded ascent. While there are no specific facilities like restrooms directly at the site, the ease of access and the spectacular payoff make Strani Hill a worthwhile destination for a brief visit.
