What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Glicorisa Beach is praised for its stunning location, fine sand, and clear waters, making it a beautiful spot for a getaway. Visitors appreciate the organized beach facilities and the delicious food at the seaside cafe. However, some find the hotel's accommodations outdated and note that sunbeds incur an extra charge, which can be a surprise.
"Beautiful location, but disappointing stay
Although the hotel is set in a stunning location with breathtaking views, our stay left us a bit underwhelmed. We were glad to have a rental car so we could explore the island every day. The rooms are very outdated. Which isn’t necessarily a problem, but they were at least very clean. The rest of the hotel also feels quite old.
Breakfast is simple, traditional Greek, so don’t expect too much. There’s no real atmosphere in the lobby or bar area. The pool is well maintained and we could always find a spot there. The beach, however, was always overcrowded (since it’s also open to the public). On top of that, sunbeds came with an extra charge, which we didn’t expect from a hotel presenting itself as a beach hotel.
Unfortunately, the staff at the beach, in particular one man was very unpleasant to deal with, which left us with a negative impression overall."

"Unbelievable behavior over a bottle of water
I tried to buy two bottles of water at the beach with my credit card, but they only accepted cash. When I asked if I could return shortly to pay or settle it at the end of the day, the owner started shouting at me in front of everyone, asking how I could not have cash on me. Over water!
It was humiliating, completely unnecessary, and incredibly unprofessional. I’ve never been treated like this anywhere—especially not for something as basic as drinking water."
