Reviews Summary

The First Cemetery of Patras is a place of historical and artistic significance, offering a peaceful environment for reflection. However, many visitors express disappointment with the lack of cleanliness and maintenance, noting litter and abandoned graves. Despite these issues, its unique architecture and quiet atmosphere are appreciated by those who visit with respect.

"Very careless cemetery. Wherever you look, you will find garbage even on graves or flower pots, shame. Most graves are abandoned and worn out. There are not enough garbage cans. There are graves where to go someone must have some physical abilities but also step on other graves to get there. Finally, the doors are closed whenever someone smokes in the area and not at sunset which is designated for cemeteries. Simply shame and disgrace for such a place, do something."

Damianos Bran

"They've left it alone, they don't pay much attention to it."

George K

"An incredible place for peace and walking. Obviously always with respect for our fellow humans who have passed away."
