"The Church of 100 Doors (Panagia Ekatontapiliani) is an absolute must-see when visiting Paros. It’s a stunning and historic site with a calm and spiritual atmosphere that immediately makes you slow down and take it all in. The architecture is beautiful, and it’s fascinating to wander around and discover the different chapels and details within the complex.

As someone who isn’t religious, I still found it truly fascinating to see how much significance the locals give to the church and its traditions. Watching the deep respect and devotion was in itself a unique experience.

Even if you’re not particularly religious, the sense of history and tranquility makes it worth a visit. This said however, it is not something far of special from other churches."

Emil Noer

"The Holy Shrine of the Virgin Mary was beautiful!! AKA- Church of 100 doors. Always be respectful when visiting, they have a limited number of wraps for women for cover ups and they ask for quiet. Really worth it as it is so close to the port. Like all of the churches, there are candles for you to light with a donation to help support the Shrine. We were there mid May and it was not crazy busy. Very beautiful, no charge to enter as well."
