While the seasonal waterfall can be a highlight, visitors note it may be dry in summer. The challenging terrain requires good footwear and ample water, making it a rewarding trek for those who enjoy a more adventurous path.
"We were here in May, completely dried out, so no waterfall in Summer. First part is quite nice and easy if you like climbing over some boulders (ladder very sketchy though). After that the vegetation becomes very dense, machete would have been nice. Jokes aside, the way is the goal here, if you like your trails a bit rougher. We were a bit disappointed at the end, it was not as spectacular as we thought and you couldn't go further at the waterfall. You can reach another waterfall at a higher point by car though (road to Orino). Have fun :)"

"Very nice hike in the gorge. Based on our host’s recommendation we went first to the waterfall and then hiked down all the way to the parking near Koutsouras. It took around 4 hours. A bit challenging, would recommend good footwear and at least 1l water per person."

"Really interesting walk, about an hour each way, up the gorge to a beautiful little church. The path fairly challenging, so good footwear and water essential."
