What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise The Windmill hostel for its exceptional cleanliness, privacy in dorms, and outstanding value. The friendly and helpful host, Georgios, is frequently mentioned for going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. While overwhelmingly positive, some might find the location slightly less central than other options, though still very accessible.
"I can highly recommend this hostel! Everything was just perfect. The place is very clean, well-organized and you really have your privacy. Each bed comes with a locker, your own mini fridge, comfortable bedding, towels and everything you might need.
The owner is incredibly friendly and flexible – I had an issue with my ferry, and he immediately offered his help, which I really appreciated. You can tell that everything here is run with a lot of care.
If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, great facilities and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect choice. I would definitely stay here again!"

"My 4 night stay at the Windmill was my favorite out of my 5 weeks in Greece. I did both a private room and then a dorm room. Both were incredibly clean. The details are very easy to follow in the check-in email.
I could finally cook (yay) because the kitchen has everything you need. They let you do a free load of laundry which is incredibly kind. To top it off there is quality coffee every morning. Seriously, it is the best value. It felt just right! For the shared dorm you get a personal fridge, TOWELS, and free locker storage. Ugh, i love this place. The gentleman running it and the lady deserve all the great clients in Naxos. If you made it this far, book it!"

"Windmill Naxos is definitely 5/5 star ! Value for money is excellent, I first stayed in a private room which was clean, spacious and had all the necessary amenities. I then stayed in a dorm room where each bed had “cabin” doors for privacy and security. Awesome set up, one of the better ones I’ve seen in hostels. The host Georgios was very friendly and went above and beyond. Great communication for checking in and instructions for finding the hostel which is often a challenge on Greek islands. Would definitely stay here again."
