Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos to be a small but fascinating place, offering a glimpse into the island's rich history and the famous Mykonos Vase. While some reviewers wished for more variety in exhibits, the informative displays and affordable entry make it a worthwhile stop, especially for those interested in ancient Greek art and mythology. The museum is particularly enjoyable during the off-season when crowds are minimal.

"Wonderful little museum and some very fascinating history on display for Mykonos and the surrounding islands. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was because there was an over abundance of similar exhibits (would be nice to have a little more variety) and the toilets were missing seats in the bathrooms."

Jordan Davis

"I was looking forward to visiting the museum. However, upon arriving, I realized that it's only a little museum with exhibits of the same variety (vases mostly). I was a bit disappointed to be honest. 3 stars because the info tablets were nicely done and informativ and some the exhibits were really interesting. It would have been nice though to have more information about the island's history in the context to the exhibits or maybe also as a stand-alone. That would have been very interesting!"

Annalena Hoffmann

"We went in October, the off season so no lines and plenty of time and space to wander at our leisure.
The text panels are in Greek and English. There's plenty of info for what we were looking at. It was a great addition if you do an excursion to Delos island.
The person at the desk was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. There are toilets available but they were not the greatest, doesn't matter tho at least they worked."
