Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Acropolis of Lindos for its breathtaking panoramic views and historical significance, calling it an unforgettable experience. The combination of ancient ruins, dramatic cliffs, and the stunning blue sea is a major highlight. However, the steep climb, intense heat during summer, and the cost of tickets are common points of consideration for travelers.

"Lindos Acropolis is a must-visit when on Rhodes. The combination of ancient ruins, dramatic cliffs and panoramic sea views is unforgettable. Tickets are 20 euros per adult and it's smart to buy them in advance to skip the line, we waited around 15 minutes. Along the way there are QR codes you can scan to buy tickets online, but if you're already close to the entrance, it might be quicker to just wait in line.
The path up is steep and not secured with handrails, so be careful, especially with kids. Wear good shoes and bring a hat or cap, as it gets very hot during the day. Once at the top, you're rewarded with stunning views over Lindos Bay and the white town below.
The site has some restored areas and informational signs. Go early if you want to avoid the crowds and the heat. A mix of history, nature and views that truly makes it one of the island’s highlights. Worth every step."

"A very atmospheric place. I recommend visiting at 4 p.m. in mid-August, as there were no queues at that time. Be sure to wear good shoes. Bring water with you. You can get there by bus; the schedule can be found on this website: ktelrodou.gr. On the way back, you need to buy a ticket at the ticket office. In 2025, admission costs €20."

"When we arrived in the town, it looked from below like it would be a long and difficult uphill walk. But it wasn’t at all — from a certain point through the town, it’s only a 4-minute walk on easy terrain. The entrance fee is €20, and card payment is accepted.

The archaic atmosphere of the place and the view of the stunning blue sea moved me so much that I actually cried. I truly recommend visiting — it’s an unforgettable experience."
