"We have visited Athens several times over the past few years and keep coming back to see History. And also lots of good food places all around. Well preserved usually self guide tour using Google maps and my research. Easy to walk to most of the famous sites.
We passed by the national library on our tour and stopped to take some pics of this beautiful building. Did not go inside this time."

You wouldn’t think it’d take 10+ months to fix a ceiling. It’s a shame because there’s hardly anywhere in Athens centre to sit peacefully and read."
