What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Nibelungen Museum offers a unique, audio-driven storytelling experience focused on the Nibelungen legend, rather than traditional artifacts. While some visitors find it engaging and appreciate the local lore and tower views, others feel it lacks tangible exhibits and can be boring for children or those expecting a conventional museum. The climb and potential heat are also noted considerations.
"It is not a museum in that sense. It is audio guided tour, story telling tour with some monochrome videos along. 5.5 Euro for entry. Worth it ? Depends on your interest. If you are looking for some ancient historical artefacts then this not the place for you. If you are interested in listening story of events that occurred few centuries ago in Germany, then go there."

"?
A museum without artefacts/exponats... only walk on the wall and a nice view from the top of the second tower. Many stories and legends about a huge treasure of Nibellugs but...any coin or any small piece of gold from them... in the ,,museum"🤭
Don't get me wrong, the building and the route are well organized but...there is not any connection with Nibellungs... only some stories on the head sets and few plastic's figurines. You can call this place how you want but not ,,museum"...🤥. Sorry to say but it is to much!
And keep your children home if you intend to visit this place...they will be so borred.

"Mixed reviews here. Wife wasn't crazy about it, she got bored quickly. There are many stairs to climb and you must really like audio tours. I liked it ok. My teenager found it confusing. Oh well!"
