Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Hooksiel for its beautiful, expansive beaches and the unique experience of walking on mudflats during low tide. It's considered a relaxing and family-friendly spot with a charming harbor. However, some find the beach access fees excessive, and the water can be quite cold for swimming even in warmer months.

"Not what would expect from the beach if you are coming from the south. Even in August it can get very windy and cold, but sometimes you can get lucky and get a few hours of sunshine. It's a nice place to experience the tide and walk the sea bed during low tides though it can get very muddy.
On the downside side are the excessive access prices for the beach. Regardless of how bad the weather is you will be charged 3.5 €/pers. For this reason I would recommend avoiding this place"
