"A very beautiful old building of a former church.
Its origins date back to the construction of a Dominican monastery in the late 14th century. Ulm's first Protestant church was built on the ruins starting in 1617.
After the bombing in World War II, the heavily damaged church building remained unused for a long time. Minor work on the building served only to secure it, not to renovate it.
It wasn't until 1982 that the old building was completely renovated, and since 1984 it has served as the Protestant Church's "House of Encounter."
Unfortunately, I don't know whether the significantly altered interior of the building can be visited, as the facility was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic."
