"We took the Söllereckbahn cable car up as hikers. Even though it was early in the morning, during the week and before the start of the winter season, we had a hard time even finding a parking space, although this could also have been because the surrounding cable cars were closed for maintenance at the time. There was well over 1.5m of snow at the top of the Söllereck, which made hiking difficult in places. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent view of the mountains and valleys in the sunshine and bright blue sky; the panorama was breathtaking! It's just a shame that the restaurants weren't open, so we had to warm up a lot and go to the bathroom was flat. The paths were very steep in places; I wouldn't really recommend it for families with strollers and/or people with walking difficulties... otherwise, the panorama is worth a trip at any time of year."
