"I would be admitted by my family doctor on a morning like this. An initial examination would be performed in reception, which took just under an hour. Afterward, I went to another examination room for further tests. Again, it took about an hour. But someone was with me for most of the time, and something was done (ECG, blood draw, swab, etc.).
On the ward, I would be assigned a room and informed about the next steps. Another examination was necessary that day.
On Friday, I would have to fast because a procedure was necessary. This was announced at short notice and carried out very quickly.
All the staff in reception and on the ward were very friendly and helpful. In the room, they repeatedly asked if the patients needed anything else.
You might not enjoy a hospital stay, but I was made to feel comfortable here.
