"I will talk about castle rooms:
Positive aspects: 1)Breakfast is good with many possible choices; kindness of people, but limited to restaurant areas.
2) Location is really good, castle (from outside) is really nice.
Negative aspects: 1) Room were dirty, we found black hairs around the room and in the bathroom.
2) Room have not been cleaned after the first day of stay; they didn't even move a blanket that felt down on the floor from the bed the first day; there was also a piece of paper on the table...nobody took care of removing it during room "cleaning".
3) The first day we arrived at 22:30 in the room, bar was closed, and there was only one small bottle of sparkling water in the room (for two people). We remained thirsty all night long. The second day, they didn't even took care of replacing this bottle. It's not acceptable not to have at least a 50 cl bottle for each guest (and in my opinion is not even acceptable not to have minibar full, in such an hotel).
There was a fridge, but empty and broken.
4) Room furniture is really poor and absolutely not suitable for a castle (most of them coming from Ikea); the carpet had also an undefined black spot of dirty.
5) Room (301) was next to elevator, and each time, at each hour, we heard noises coming from the elevator moving.
6) At the front desk, after sharing problems we faced, there wasn't any reaction...no excuses...no explanations...they only gave us the bill without saying anything; they only told that castle is not 4 stars...only guest house is four stars.
I would suggest to see the castle from outside and select another cheaper hotel, that for sure will have at least the minimum essential services."
