"Visited late June 2018
That I ended up there is proof of pure luck. Came riding in small road style along Alte Kosinger Strasse, then noticed the a building with walls on the right hand side.
Decided to stop and realized it was Neresheim Abbey. Beautiful place, extremely well kept building. The church is one of the prettiest, most well kept I've ever set my foot in.
That the organ started playing up the moment I entered the church made the whole experience just better. Fantastic organ sound and acoustics. The sort that could meld stone hearts and relieve anyone of stress or grief.
Of all the places I've seen in Germany Neresheim Abbey ranks high among those places I recommend as stopover."
