What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise St. Peter's Church Tower for its absolutely stunning 360-degree panoramic views of Riga, easily accessible via an elevator. The unique, minimalist white interior is also noted for its serene atmosphere and use as an event space. Some find the tower fee a bit steep if the weather is poor.
"The church is nowadays used as a venue for events. This its interior is left mostly white which gives it a very serene feel. For a small fee one can climb the observation deck, which offers amazing 360 views over Lübeck and the surrounding areas. This is absolutely worth it. One unfortunate thing is the ugly modern architecture in the city center (eg at the town hall square, whose architect should revisit architecture school!)."

"On a weekday my friend & I have visited this church. It's also an art space. A ticket costs 5€ per Person. You go to the observation desk with a lift. The view is great! You can buy some souvenirs in the church."

"St. Peter's Church visit is for free but the observation desk has a charge of 5 euro which it’s definitely not worth it if it’s a windy cold day.. you won’t enjoy it and you will probably catch a cold.. Church is white and empty on purpose - it’s always like that- not cause of renovation."

The Iconic Tower Views
Travelers consistently rave about the quality of the views, calling them 'amazing' and 'fantastic.' Some visitors note that on very windy or cold days, the enjoyment might be diminished, so checking the weather forecast is a wise move.
A Unique Church Interior
This design means that while the church is free to enter, the primary draw for most visitors is the tower climb.
