What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Asisi Panorama Luther 1517 offers a visually striking, 360-degree artistic interpretation of Wittenberg during Martin Luther's time, with immersive light and sound effects. While praised for its artistic merit and as a good introduction to the Reformation, some visitors find the experience disjointed and overpriced, suggesting potential improvements in audio-visual coordination and ticketing value.
"Per se it’s really cool, BUT only 4 Stars because you cannot really enjoy the time travel, as there is smth else happening on the main speakers at the same time which distracts you from your headphones.
The pictures are great, lights and music effects really immersive, but it’s like you’re doing 2 different things at the same time. It should be better organized.
Maybe with time slots so that noises/music/story work together.
Like this it’s just messy."
Dario Bezer
"Well worth the ticket. Even better go to the info center and buy a day pass and get all the site free. In addition go tge the Panama house"
Gary Ramm

Atttended a Christian Lutheran church service."

The Immersive Art of Asisi
The Luther 1517 panorama specifically aims to recreate the atmosphere of Wittenberg during the pivotal year of the Reformation. Visitors are surrounded by a detailed, life-size depiction of the town, complete with figures, architecture, and everyday scenes. The accompanying soundscape and lighting effects are intended to enhance this immersion, guiding the viewer through the narrative and historical significance of the period.
However, visitor feedback suggests that the execution of the immersive elements can sometimes be a point of contention. While the visual artistry is often praised, the coordination of audio and visual cues has been described as 'messy' by some, detracting from the intended 'time travel' effect. This highlights the delicate balance required in creating truly seamless immersive experiences.

Visiting Wittenberg provides a comprehensive understanding of the Reformation's impact, with the Asisi Panorama serving as a unique artistic interpretation of this crucial historical period.
