"Located on the Market Square in the center of Lindau, Germany, the Evangelical Church of St. Stephan was built in 1180. The base of the tower and the south wall of the choir date from this period. Around 1500, the building was expanded to its current form. A Rococo church with fine stucco and stained glass, in 1781 the altar, baptismal font, and pulpit were added in reddish stucco marble. Finally, in 1965, the vibrant stained glass windows in the choir with biblical motifs were created, radiating vibrant colors not only on sunny days.
