"About the boarding: You have to arrive at least two hours in advance, which we managed to exaggerate even a bit more. But basically it resulted in just more time to waste and waiting in one of the queueing lots until you drive up the ferry.
About the ferry: To us it is like a luxurious cruise. A hut with seaview, shops, cafés, buffet restaurant, a lot of entertainment... A delightful and relaxed way to travel between Kiel and Oslo, but at a cost: it requires a small fortune to buy the tickets to all this, and then still lots of other ways to spend a lot of money on board."
