What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Hockenheimring for its historic racing pedigree and thrilling motorsport events, with many enjoying driving experiences and the electric atmosphere. While some note that spectator facilities could be updated, the overall sentiment is highly positive for speed enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable event.
"What a fantastic place for any speed enthusiast! I went to watch the Ferrari Challenge Europe races and see private owners push their vehicles to the limit around this historic track. Beyond the races, we had the chance to walk around the pits area, which was a unique experience, and even meet some of the drivers in person.
As others have mentioned, the spectator seating and overall appearance of the stands could use some sprucing up. But it was still worth the visit, and we had a great time.
I wish they had an onsite museum and better signage to help visitors find their way around the property. Aside from these minor details, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the thrill of speed and the chance to see some spectacular vehicles."

"I lived near the ring and on a boring sunday morning. I decided to go expecting to watch some people driving around since I was thinking the track is open for public.
In the welcome center, they explained to me that there is a tour at 11:00. I waited for an hour and I didn't know what to expect.
I came back later and there was a small meeting and I realized that only for 12€ I'm about to have a great experience.
We had a tour that was telling us interesting stories about the track, and we actually drove our personal cars on the track. Which was the last thing that I expected.
The tour guy was great and kind as well as the stuff at the Welcome Center.
It was an absolutely great experience."

"We had an amazing time at the Hockenheimring at the Race and Roll light event where we got to drive some incredible Porsche Caymans and get driven in two laps by a professional driver. The team at Hockenheimring were extremely helpful and kind and genuinely wanted to give us the best experience throughout the whole event. Shout out to the lovely women who guided us through the tour, got us some great photos and memories and gave us a lift back. Genuinely grateful and very thankful to you…Hope you enjoyed the pub quiz that day :) Thank you for giving us a great experience and opportunity, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a thrill seeking time!"
