Visitors praise the St. Pauli Bunker for its impressive history, unique architecture, and the stunning panoramic views from its rooftop garden, often highlighting the free admission and the serene green space. However, some find it can get very crowded, making it difficult to enjoy the views from the edge, and note that prices for refreshments at the top are higher than at ground level.
"Location: 25 min by walking from Harbour (river tunnel).
Service: top of the bunker there is a cafe if you’d like to have a rest, there is toilet at 3rd floor.
History & ambiance: pretty impressive to see such a building with interesting history & full of concrete.
Waiting is just for security check as it is forbidden to have water & food. No ticket is required. Top view is amazing.
Highly recommended!"

"Nice place ro visit. It was nice to see around the city. It was possible to buy refreshments at the top of the bunker. Climbing the stairs takes about 10 minutes, but if you also want to read the information boards, it takes about 20 minutes. There was also an elevator available. Free admission."

"Beautifully upgraded bunker in the middle of the city. There's so much history here, and they're working on adding an exhibition inside the bunker as well. The crowning glory is the big garden at the top, beautifully lush and very serene.
Great views all over the city. The walk up the steps doesn't seem as high as it looks, quite easy to do as there's lots of spots to rest as well. Plus, it's a free attraction, so definitely one not to miss!"
