What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Kunsthaus Göttingen for its impressive exhibitions, particularly those by artists like Bryan Adams, and the dedication of its staff. The modern architecture is a point of discussion, with some finding it striking and others less so. While the art is generally well-received, some exhibitions feature sensitive content that warrants consideration for younger visitors.
"The house is amazing. A must-see. You can argue about the exhibitions, but that's normal. The current exhibition, however, doesn't just feature celebrities, but also war veterans... people with prosthetics, disfigured body parts, etc. Families visiting here should know what their child can understand and tolerate. My personal opinion is: over-12s should be considered the minimum. However, it's also good to show things like this. Especially to show the consequences of certain events."

"We received a very friendly welcome at the art museum and were immediately informed about the current exhibition. There was a fantastic multimedia installation on display, dystopian and science fiction-style. Otherwise, it's a modern building. The otherwise stylish facade is covered in graffiti, as seems to be common in Göttingen. We'll probably visit again on our next trip to Göttingen."
