"medieval basilika with baroque furnishing. astonishing altars with Holy Figures and miraculous Icons. Marvelous inside and outside."
david antoun
"Phenomenal church by one of the "starchitects" of the 18th century, Balthasar Neumann (1687-1753), most famous for the staircase in the Würzburg Residence. The Basilika was built 1730 to 1739. Beautiful inside and outside. The "high baroque" ornamentation inside is definitely "over the top," but beautiful nevertheless."
Nils Paellmann
"Not only is the basilika beautiful, but the whole area surrounding it is well worth a hike!
The only thing amiss is that it's forbidden to take pictures?! No one seem to mind though."
