What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Senckenberg Museum for its vast and impressive collections, particularly the iconic anaconda and the awe-inspiring dinosaur skeletons. The interactive elements and the museum's commitment to inclusivity are also highlighted as major positives, making it a highly recommended destination for all ages. Some visitors noted issues with air conditioning during hot weather and a desire for more English translations for exhibit information.
"Interesting museum with a large collection of species from all around the world.
Everything is well specified and described.
You can see a large number of different species, from the ones that are common and that you see everyday, to endangered ones and the ones who are, unfortunatelly, extinct.
There is a part with skeletons, which is probably the most attractive part for the average visitor and children. A couple of skeletons of dinosaurs and fossils describe how Earth looked like a long time before humans.
It is a nice place to learn, deepen the knowledge and get familiarized with flora and fauna."

"Amazing experience🤠
My childhood dream was visiting a natural history museum of this size and abundance of exhibits. I’m giving 4 stars just because the air conditioning was off in the middle of July and the staff had to open the front entrance and rear door to cool down the visitors. Also some of the solar system sections didn’t have lighting.
Overall as a Dino nerd I would recommend anyone to visit this museum!"

"Well worth the €12 adult entry, even as an English speaker who couldn't understand all the text. The displays are beautiful- they have a wonderful selection of fossils, minerals and other items, which are all beautifully curated. The layout is very cool, and the building itself is geometric and adds to the sense of wonder and exploration.
Would highly recommend. I believe we spent 4 hours here and could have spent another 1-2hrs there - only left due to time restraints on our part. A small gift shop."
