Its medieval architecture and peaceful interior are frequently praised, offering a brief but worthwhile glimpse into the city's past. "This church is very cute and fits nicely in the old town square. Inside you can find information boards of the church as well as the reformation. I recommend checking it out if you are in the square"

Tadeusz Godlewski

"This is a Lutheran church at Römerberg that dates back to the Middle Ages. It was first constructed in the mid-12th century. However, the building you see today is from the the 15th century is Gothic in architecture. Luckily the church mostly survived WWII air raids with only minor damage allowing us to view the majority of the church exterior and interior as it was in centuries past. Well worth a brief visit while sightseeing around Old Town."

Brad

"Alte Nikolaikirche in Frankfurt is a captivating historic landmark that exudes a blend of medieval charm and quiet reverence. Nestled in the Römerberg square, this church is both an architectural and spiritual treasure."
