What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views, especially the distant Alps on clear days. The Feldbergsteig trail is a highlight for its diverse scenery and manageable length. While some found paths muddy, the overall experience is highly recommended for its natural beauty and accessibility.
"It is mid-June and the weather is perfect for hiking here. You start out with the plains, and weave in and out of the forest, encountering water streams. In our case, there were some muddy paths.
The huts were good rest stops, they seem to be closed but you can purchase drinks and snacks and use their toilets. It was not crowded on a Tuesday morning, and we completed the entire Feldbergsteig (Recreational trail) in about 4 hours including the rest stops. Very enjoyable and highly recommended."
