"Beautiful natural area to walk around. Great views on Lake Baldeney. Nicely kept ruins of the castle are perfect for children to explore and play. Interesting historical site. Enough places in the area for a drink.or quick bite, but on-site at the ruins is nothing. Not accessible for disabled people. Free parking a few hundred meters away."

"Super excellent place to visit. Thickness of walls, strategic locations. Water well inside ( though closed) watch tower window, kitchen area living quarters, out door patio. Gate and rear door. Everything is mesmerising. This is one place where you must have a small room for meuseum. Well worth that. There are several walks down to Baldeneysee and best is gonsee ruine and then down to see and walk to S-Bahn station. Saves a lot of climbing up to bus station."
