What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Festung Xperience to be a highly entertaining and innovative historical attraction, largely due to its unique, technology-driven audio guide that incorporates light, sound, and scents. The impressive terrace views are also a significant highlight. Some reviewers noted that the storyline could feel a bit disjointed at times, and the audio guide's language options are limited.
"Must visit at least once when in Dresden. Full marks for the audio guide experience and the concept. It was a wonderful experience indeed. The storytelling felt a bit disconnected to me at some places, but that is just a personal opinion."
Shweta
"It is a really nice experience. You get an audio guide and go through the fortress following a very amusing story. The light show, smells and noises are great. It would be much better if the audio guides were offered in other languages (there is only German or English)"
María Barrera
"This is just brilliant. I felt the American spirit of amusement attractions. Never seen anything like it before in Germany. Could've been a Disney World attraction. You get an audio guide that tracks all your steps and guides you through the exhibition. There story is really cool, but the ending was a little bit disappointing. They work with light shows and smells and the noises are great. I used to go to the Katakomben all the time and the "old way" to be guided wasn't even near as good. Probs to everyone who worked on it!!"
