What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dresden-Neustadt Station is a well-connected transport hub with a pleasant atmosphere and a picturesque ceiling. Visitors appreciate the shops and eateries, as well as the easy access to trams and buses. However, the limited and costly restroom facilities are a significant drawback for many.
"Visited Dresden Neustadt today. While I have been to Dresden many times, this was my first time to this station. The station has a great feel and atmosphere. Big Terminal area with a lot of shops and plenty of places to get stuff to eat. The buses and trams stop right out front. Easy access to the train platforms. The biggest problem with this station in my opinion was the lack of bathrooms. I could only find one area and it shared with male and female and they only have three stalls. All this and they still charge for use. It was a nightmare. Lucky the Burger King has bathrooms if you buy something. So for €3 more, I had a cheese burger. Still enjoy the visit. Historic station, but fix the bathroom issue!"

"Good connectivity from this station to the north of Berlin. Direct S Bahn trains also to the airport. Toilets charge 1 euro and were not the cleanest however!"

"One of the larger stations in Dresden on the north side of the River Elbe serving the northern side of the city. Many services stop here. The station has a picturesque ceiling and plenty of shops. Access to the platforms is via a set of stairs or lift. There is a bus and tram interchange outside. I visited station and struggled to find the platform where S-bahn services go from."
