What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Westfalenpark for its vast green spaces, beautiful gardens, and family-friendly attractions like playgrounds and the Florianturm. It's considered a great spot for relaxation, photography, and enjoying various events. Some find the separate ticketing for attractions a bit inconvenient, and the rose gardens might not meet all expectations depending on the season.
"Wonderful park!
Lots of interesting locations! There are playgrounds where you can walk with small children! There are many cozy places in the park where you can sit in silence, take interesting photos! The tower is very cool - the whole city is in the palm of your hand!
I recommend visiting this wonderful place!"

"A big park, with paid entry. If you want to visit the Florianturm, you have no other option, since the tower is located on its premises. When we were there also a flea market took place, interesting use of the space with all kinds of things to buy. Apparently it's also famous for its rose gardens, that as you can see on the map, take a big chunk of the park. However they were disappointing, maybe they span throughout the park, maybe it wasn't the best time, but I hoped to see more colors and variations."

"What a great park for families with kids! Start with the Spielbogen. It's just playground upon playground, lots of fun things to do. Avoid the Kindermuseum (we happened upon an exhibit about bacteria 🤷🏻♀️). Be ready to pay a small fee for the train, visiting the tower and the cableroad.
The only confusing thing to me was WHY I HAD TO QUEUE WITH EVERYONE WHEN I HAD PURCHASED THE TICKETS ONLINE. This was ridiculous!"
