"We parked our car in Dahn and walked through the forest. We followed the orange sign to the Castle. There are Three Castle but all joined together with three point of access. To me it is like one Castle. The first stretch of elevation is going up and then down. If a fat guy like me can do it, so can you. The track is through the forest and you can also see some rock formations. Beware of tree roots and they can cause you to stumble. The Castle is all ruins. I did not see any toilets at the Castle. You have to climb lots of stairs to enjoy this Castle. speaking of stairs, this Castle is not for those who are a physically challenged. You do not have to pay for this attraction. A sunny day will add more expensive to your outing."

"Great castle ruin to visit. Plan to spend at least 2 hours walking the castle grounds and enjoying the breathtaking views without visiting the museum. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared to climb up and down numerous times. Kids may enjoy the climbing up and down; however, people with limited mobility will not be able to get to some of the castle areas. Definitely worth the stop."
