What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the exceptional freshness and quality of the fish at Fischmarkt Bremerhaven, highlighting it as a must-visit for seafood lovers. The lively maritime atmosphere and specific vendors like Fiedler's are frequently mentioned positives. However, some note limitations in non-fish food and drink options during busy events, and parking can be a challenge.
"Interesting place divided in many parts, from restaurant, grab and go food and market.
We got a mixed fish platter with a side of choice (potato salad) and sea bass with (bratkartoffeln).
Portions were great"
Johan Wang
"This is a great little area and overall I enjoyed visiting for the fish festival. For anyone else who is thinking about taking kids down here for this event, make sure to bring some water. No where to buy any water that we could find. Main focus seemed to be fish and beer, which is not mentioned as a negative, but it does limit food and drink options for those who have varied diets, and those that do not drink alcohol anymore. Parking around the area was obviously packed for this event, and I would recommend parking a few blocks away and walking in. Great to see so many people out and about again."

"Fresh fish natket with many choices from Bremerhaven fisherman. We bought a few fresh items also a few post cards"
