"A must see and do in Salzburg. The cable car to the top is quite amazing. But what you do there is up to you. There are trails for the intrepid to come up on their own steam and you will have lots of company. Don’t forget your hiking boots and sticks. And check the weather- it might be better to be flexible if you have the time. If you are doing 2 activities or more in Salzburg check out the Salzburg card beforehand. It includes the cable car but also public transport from the train station and quite sure the airport too."

"We took a public Bus 25 and ended straight in front of the Mountain cable car (Untersbergbahn GmbH).
You can buy the cable car ticket from their office counter on the day itself. Beautiful scenic view on its way up. Price €34
There are Restaurants for you to chill and enjoy the panorama of Austria and Germany.
Plus you can either do a short trek or a long trek and it’s up to individual.
There are ravens flying around. They looked pretty hungry, just be ware of your food. Lolx
The best panorama views I had seen so far in my trip."
