"Top venue. The building is superb! Not too much focus on the flavor profiles of the wines, but their probemenu, their tasting menu is interesting.
We did not like the first 5 wines of the dry/feinherb menu, the last one was a 6.5/10.
We were with the two of us and glad we order only 1 plank to try. You get like 6 times 0,1 liter. So practically a bottle of wine.
We intended to take the auslese tasting menu, but it was a bit much, so settled for a single beerenauslese glass of I thought 2003. Unfortunately also this wine underwhelmed us.
For us the wine is not the having the flavour profile and signature we like.
All in all, it is a fun place to try some wines close to the mozel."
