Reviews Summary

Maybachufer Market is a highly-rated destination, praised for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse Turkish and international street food, and excellent selection of fabrics and crafts. Visitors appreciate the friendly vendors and the opportunity to find fresh produce at good prices. Some find the market can get very crowded and hot, especially during peak times and summer months.

"Fridays, whole day, from early morning until evening, or until the stands are emptied by satisfied by consumers, who are not only from the neighborhood Kreuzberg, they are from the whole city Berlin and tourists are coming as well.
Turkish is the main language in bargaining. Don’t worry you will understand it without difficulties. :-)
There are also stands for street food from all over the world."

Zafer Tuncay

"My review is specifically for a stall called CHEZ ZU which you can find closer to Kottbusser Damm every Tuesday and Friday. For 3.50€ they offer the best Gözleme in town, untraditional particularly in the ratio of dough-to-filling. With such thin dough, the Gözleme is super juicy and served very hot.

When I’m looking for a filling and delicious ‘snack’ I opt for the zucchini and cauliflower fritters (2.80€).

Berlin is lacking in affordable quality “treats” so I am grateful to have found this spot."

Leticia Hutchings

"I had a delightful experience during my visit! The weather was perfect, and the market's location beside the river added to the refreshing atmosphere.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that many of the vegetables and fruits were more affordable compared to the supermarket, although some items were a bit pricier.

What really stood out was the friendliness of the vendors—they made shopping here a joy. I left feeling happy and satisfied with my purchases. Highly recommend checking out this market for a great shopping experience!"
