""A beautiful park full of nature and wildlife surprises ✨"
On our way to Batumi, we decided to stop at Shekvetili Dendrological Park after reading about its bamboo forest. While the bamboo section was a bit smaller and less impressive than expected, it was still cool to see it in Georgia. What truly stood out, however, was the park itself. It is beautifully maintained and filled with a wide range of animal enclosures, from colorful birds and parrots to playful lemurs.
We visited in August, and while the heat made our walk through the park a bit challenging, it was still a very enjoyable and memorable visit. The fact that the park is completely free to enter makes it even more impressive and absolutely worth stopping for if you are in the area.
