"Bagrati Cathedral is one of the most iconic places in Kutaisi. We visited around sunset, and the view from the top was absolutely beautiful. The cathedral is located on a hill, and the golden light over the city made the atmosphere feel peaceful and relaxing.
Inside the church, the feeling was very spiritual and calm. It’s a quiet space that gives a strong sense of history and respect.
After that, we walked around to the back of the church and followed a small path uphill. From there, we found a beautiful open spot with a full view of the river and the city. It was one of the best viewpoints we discovered during our trip.
The area around the cathedral is clean and quiet. A great place to take photos, enjoy the breeze, or just sit and relax.
We got there easily using Yandex Go, which was fast and affordable from the city center.
Although it didn’t take long to explore, it’s a place that stays with you. Peaceful, scenic, and definitely worth visiting while you’re in Kutaisi"
