Bakuriani is a very green ski resort, located at the intersection of the Lesser Caucasus mountain ranges. ⛷ On the plus side, the road is very smooth and stable, you will most likely not have problems getting here and returning without delays (unlike Gudauri). ⛷ A variety of trails, from the simplest ones that will suit even the smallest skier, to black trails that will make your heart beat fast...

The stunning mountain views and vibrant après-ski scene are also highlights. However, some note that road maintenance can be an issue, and chaotic new constructions detract from the village's historical charm.

"The slopes are fantastic for everyone. It is something there advanced and beginner. It is done professionally with the lifts and the helping people on the mountain. The snow is great and the prices are fine!

55 Lari for a day pass is really good and fair!

The view from the top of the mountain is also amazing. Around the valley there is much to do, from Restaurants to great music and a lot of accommodations possibilities. Also renting equipment is possible right next to the lift.

It feels just very professional, when compared to Austria and other popular regions. I had a lot of joy and can highly recommend going there!"

"We were here in the summer. The cable car is very beautiful and it's really fun to ride it. We went up to the top of the mountain. There's not much to see there. It's a mountain with no trees, so it looks pretty boring."

Yosi Raz

"Great skiing, many different skiing slopes, good lifts, no people on the slopes, very beautiful new restaurant at Mitarbi. Not maintained roads, not even the cetral one, pedestrian zones icy, parkings full of snow, chaotic new constructions destroying the historical face of the village."
