"We went on another tour that gave us a 5 star experience, making it more clear that this one was not up to par. The boat is not very nice or comfortable compared to the other, and the vibe was generally not that good. I have been on many tours where regardless of what the whales are doing we still have a very enjoyable time. Unfortunately, we did not really enjoy this experience much and heard that other tours had ended up canceling that day because of how rough the conditions were..."

While we were waiting for other boats to spot the whales we stopped off at the shark/Ray sand bar by coco beach. Then headed out to where the whales were spotted. About half the group swam out to see the mom and calf and Moorea Deep Blue provided fins/snorkels to those who needed equipment.
