I traveled specially (40 km) for a national identity card appointment. My application was rejected because I presented a photo of my mother's ID instead of a photocopy. Mistakes happen to everyone. I offered to send it quickly or come back later in the day, but I was flatly refused, without any attempt at a solution.
However, there was no one after me, and the person was available a few minutes later at the counter.
What proves the total lack of goodwill is that another town hall (which I thank very much, by the way) took my application immediately in the early afternoon, but they were very understanding. The application was accepted the same day, with a simple email of the documents.
A lack of flexibility, attentiveness, and sense of public service that I find regrettable. I do not recommend this service at all!"
